Northshore Oktoberfest 2023

Join us at A Rhea of Hope's 3rd Annual Family-Friendly, Traditional Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the picturesque Fontainebleau State Park Pavilion. Admission to the park is free; simply let the staff know you're attending the Oktoberfest. Children aged 12 and younger can enjoy complimentary entry by bringing a nonperishable food item for the Northshore Food Bank, which also grants them a free game ticket or a ticket for kids 12 and under can be purchased for $5. For adults up to age 13, the admission fee is $10.
This festive event is a wonderful opportunity to come together and raise funds and awareness for Cholangiocarcinoma, also known as Bile Duct Cancer. Delight in the flavors of authentic German cuisine, savor the lively tunes of a Gertman band, and participate in an array of engaging games and activities suitable for all ages. Capture memorable moments at the photo booth, test your knowledge with German trivia, embark on a selfie scavenger hunt, showcase your strength in Hammerschlagen, toss bratwursts with precision, and take on the challenge of Masskrugstemmen. Children will have a dedicated corner with activities tailored to their enjoyment. Additionally, don't forget to explore the Bile Duct Depot Store for unique merchandise. Bring along a blanket or lawn chairs to make the most of this fun-filled day in support of a great cause.
Quacktoberfest Jeep Show
A Northshore Oktoberfest event hosted by A Rhea of Hope
Get those engines revving for an adrenaline pumping Quacktoberfest Jeep Show on Saturday, September 30, at the picturesque Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville, LA! Starting at 2:00 p.m., you can roll in with your jaw-dropping Jeeps to compete for fabulous prizes! The excitement builds as our expert judges start their engine at 5:00 p.m., with awards like Best in Show, Best Modified, and Top 10 Jeeps up for grabs!
Don't miss out on the awesome preregistration offer at just $30 before September 29th! This gets you and a buddy into Fontainebleau State Park and the thrilling Oktoberfest, where tons of games and activities await! Plus, a generous portion of your preregistration fee goes towards supporting vital research through the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation! If you prefer to register at the gate, no worries—$35 still gets you and a pal into the park and Oktoberfest for a day filled with fun and camaraderie!
